MedKin (“we”, “our”, “the app”) helps you track medications and adherence, and lets a caregiver you invite receive missed-dose alerts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account: your name, email, and profile photo from Google or Apple sign-in.
- Health-related data you enter: medications, doses, schedules, stock, and intake history. This is used only to run the reminder and adherence features.
- Care circle: invite codes and the connections between a patient and their caregivers.
- Device & notifications: a device identifier and push token so reminders reach you.
- Subscription: your MedKin Pro status (billing is handled by Google Play / the App Store — we never see your card details).
How we use it
- To send medication reminders and refill alerts.
- To calculate your adherence and show it in the app.
- To notify a caregiver you invited when a dose is missed (only with your consent).
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with: caregivers you explicitly invite; service providers that run our infrastructure and push notifications (e.g. Firebase); and the app stores for subscription billing. We may disclose data if required by law.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account any time from Profile → Delete account in the app, or request deletion at https://medkin.rimeso.in/delete-account. After a short grace period your personal data is anonymised and removed.
